Getting a Professional Website & .COM

When you want to have a website there are basically three things you need:
  1. The page Design: Usually consists of a introductory home page with a menu directing users to your information pages, and a contact page. This starts at $100 and goes up depending on your needs. For the average business, it will be under $1000.

  2. The Hosting: This is a space usually leased on a server where your Web page is 'Hosted' from. When a user goes to view your website it will be downloaded and viewed from this host. On average this will cost around $10/month.

  3. The Domain Name: This is probably most commonly known as a .com address which points to the server where your web page is hosted from. This is reserved on a yearly basis and costs around $30/year to register.

    4. So $300 will get you a nice 3 page website
    (home, info, contact) running online for a year.
